Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Threadline, available at https://talk.thejazzroomcontinential.co (the “Service”). Threadline is operated by Hugo (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing, registering for, or using Threadline, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Do not use the Service if you do not agree.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Threadline. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are eligible to use the Service.

2. Accounts

You may register using an email address and password or Google sign-in.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• Using a strong and unique password
• Activity performed through your account
• Keeping account information accurate
• Reporting suspected unauthorized access

You may not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, sell accounts, or access another user’s account without permission.

3. User Content

“User Content” includes posts, comments, community names, descriptions, and other material submitted through Threadline.

You retain ownership of the User Content you create.

By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate, secure, promote, and improve Threadline.

You represent that:

• You own or have permission to submit your User Content
• Your content does not violate another person’s rights
• Your content complies with these Terms and applicable law

4. Public Forum

Threadline is a public discussion service. Posts, comments, community information, usernames, and activity may be visible to anyone, including people without an account.

Do not post:

• Passwords or authentication codes
• Financial account information
• Government identification numbers
• Private addresses or phone numbers
• Highly sensitive personal or medical information
• Confidential information belonging to another person
• Content you do not have permission to publish

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use Threadline to:

• Break applicable laws
• Threaten, harass, stalk, bully, or intimidate others
• Promote credible threats or violence
• Exploit or endanger minors
• Publish sexual content involving minors
• Share another person’s private information without permission
• Impersonate a person or organization
• Commit fraud, phishing, scams, or identity theft
• Distribute malware, spyware, viruses, or malicious code
• Bypass authentication, security, or access controls
• Access accounts or information without authorization
• Overload, disrupt, scrape, or interfere with the Service
• Spam users or publish repeated unwanted promotions
• Manipulate votes using bots, fake accounts, or coordinated abuse
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights
• Use automated systems without written permission

6. Communities, Voting, and Moderation

Users may create communities, submit posts, comment, and vote. Votes should reflect genuine user opinions and may not be manipulated through bots, duplicate accounts, payment, coercion, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.

We may, but are not required to:

• Review or remove content
• Restrict or remove communities
• Limit features
• Suspend or terminate accounts
• Preserve evidence of abuse
• Cooperate with lawful requests

We do not guarantee that all harmful, inaccurate, or objectionable content will be identified or removed.

7. Copyright Complaints

You may not upload content that infringes another person’s copyright. A copyright owner or authorized representative may submit a complaint to getthejobdonthefirst@gmail.com .

A complaint should identify:

• The copyrighted work
• The allegedly infringing content and its location
• The complaining party’s contact information
• A good-faith statement
• A statement that the information is accurate
• The owner’s or representative’s name or signature

8. Third-Party Services

Threadline relies on services including Google, Netlify, and Aiven. Those services have their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability, security, or conduct.

Links posted by users may lead to external websites. Access external services at your own risk.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We may change, update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of Threadline at any time.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will always be available
• Content will never be lost
• Features will remain unchanged
• The Service will be error-free
• Every security threat will be prevented
• User Content will be preserved indefinitely

10. Termination

You may stop using Threadline at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe that:

• You violated these Terms
• Your account creates a security risk
• Your conduct may harm another person
• Your activity may expose us to legal liability
• Suspension is required by law or a provider
• The Service is being discontinued

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Threadline is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, security, and accuracy to the extent permitted by law.

We do not endorse or guarantee User Content, user statements, external links, or information posted through the Service.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hugo and anyone assisting in operating Threadline will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the Service, User Content, unauthorized access, data loss, interruptions, malware, third-party conduct, or reliance on information posted by users.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, total liability related to the Service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use Threadline during the previous 12 months or ten U.S. dollars.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hugo and anyone assisting with Threadline from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your User Content, misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person’s rights.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the United States and, where relevant, the laws of the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact getthejobdonthefirst@gmail.com and make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute informally.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Threadline changes. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

16. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and us concerning Threadline.
